Wild boar hunting is one of the fastest growing and one of our most popular
activities! It has been known to be called "The Sport of Kings!"
With only taking 4 people at a time, you will hunt some of the most beautiful property
in this country! Hunter success has been over 100% for shot ratio since 1999 with
many opportunities for shots over a few day trip! Trust me, we have plenty of them!
To ensure safety, all hunts are conducted from elevated stands in the morning and
the evening. There are 2 sittings per day and you are allowed 2 hogs per day/ one
per sitting. The season for hogs is year round but we only hunt them in January,
February and March as these are the MOST productive times to hunt them! Hogs are
born nocturnal and when heat is a factor, they just don’t move during daylight hours!
This is why we take advantage of the winter months only and offer them to you during
this time.
We don’t do any stalking or dog hunts for hogs as this only leads to more pressure
and less hogs seen on stands! We only do stand hunts and have a much greater success
rate as our hogs are not pressured as others are! Hogs usually run in weight from
50 lbs on up to 350 lbs. The longer you wait on stand before taking one, the bigger
they get! Smaller, immature hogs come in early and will keep you company while the
bigger ones usually stay back until right at dark to come in. There is no size limit
on hogs that can be taken. Some guests want meat hogs as others want a “true wall
hanger!” Either way is fine with us!
